What we don't charge for
- MCP tool calls — flat included, no per-call tax.
- Inbound email and webhook deliveries — the retry budget is part of the plan.
- Vault read/write operations and OAuth token refresh. You pay for stored credentials above tier cap, never for the operations.
What's not in launch scope
- International phone numbers and toll-free numbers carry separate rates; talk to sales.
- OAuth-as-a-product (managed third-party token relay) is not on the roadmap.

Anima Growth includes server-side TCPA + RND + time-of-day gates, cross-channel correlation IDs, audit log, vault, and all 190+ MCP tools. The DIY rows are list rates only; they do not include the engineering time for compliance gates, credential rotation, or audit infrastructure (typically 4-8 engineer-weeks).
Pricing FAQ
- What happens if I exceed Free tier caps?
- Free is hard-capped. The API returns 402 with an upgrade CTA when you hit the cap. Your existing data isn't deleted; you upgrade and continue.
- Are voice rates really 50% margin to Anima?
- Steady-state, yes. Provider costs (Telnyx + Deepgram + ElevenLabs) put Basic at ~$0.04/min and Premium at ~$0.09/min in April 2026. We're publishing promo rates through Q3 2026 at thinner margins to lower the activation friction.
- Why is there a separate per-call cap on top of voice minutes?
- Anti-abuse. An agent stuck in a loop dialing 1-second calls would burn $0.02 each on the FCC RND check before voice-minutes notice. The call cap catches the loop pattern; voice minutes catch normal heavy use.
- Is the $0.02 Twilio Lookup RND check optional?
- No. RND is the FCC's safe-harbor mechanism for the Reassigned Numbers rule. Anima runs it on every outbound voice call. A 30-day Postgres cache means repeat numbers are free.
- Can I downgrade?
- Yes. Annual plans pro-rate a credit at downgrade. Monthly plans take effect at the next billing cycle.
- What does Enterprise give me that Scale doesn't?
- Pooled phone numbers, EU region or BYO cloud, OIDC/SAML SSO, SOC 2 Type II report + DPA, 99.95% SLA, named CSM, and 20K outbound calls/mo default. Pricing is base + usage.
- Is there an annual discount?
- Yes. Pay annually for ~17% off (about two months free). Available on every paid tier.
